Year 2 - Mrs Banbury

On Thursday, 29th September ,Year 2 went to Mountfitchet Castle. We went to the wooden building.  I pretended to shoot an arrow over the building and kill people. We went to the dungeon and I pretended to get stuck in the stocks. We had lunch and I was super hungry. There were lots of turkeys and when I fed them they were all around me and I had to drop my bag so I did not get bitten by them. We got to play at the end of the school trip. I played with the girls and the boys had to catch the girls and the girls had to run away and I was the one that saved the girls.

On Thursday we went to Mountfitchet Castle. We were very excited. We travelled on a Cozy coach. On the coach we were very chatty. When we got there we put our lunch on the tables. Then we set off to explore the castle. First we pretended to be stuck in the stocks. Later on we went to the toy museum. At the toy museum we looked at some mirrors and we looked really funny. Then we left the toy museum and we had lunch. After that we fed some animals. Then one of the animals grabbed the bag of food.

      On Thursday, 29th September 2011, Year 2 went to Mountfitchet Castle. We tried some amour on. Next we fed some animals and we went into the dungeon.  Next we went into the toy museum and saw some toys that people used to play with in the olden days. And we saw the church. We saw some animals. Next we had lunch. It was yummy. We went up the tower and it was steep. My favourite thing was the animals.

 Year 2 went on a school trip to Mountfitchet Castle. We went on a coach. When we got there, we went to the toy museum. I liked having my lunch and I liked feeding the animals. I liked the chickens and there were turkeys. I also liked the armour. It was funny to pretend to be stuck in the stocks. Then we fed the animals. Then we went back home to our school.

On Thursday, 29th September, Year 2 went to Mountfitchet Castle. First the school booked the coach and it was free to go on the Cozy coach. When we got on the coach it was very noisy and scary, but I was exited. When we got there, the first thing my group did was go to the toilets. Next we went into this house with people in it and table with fruit on it. When we were eating our lunch there were lots of turkeys and chickens trying to get to eat all of our food. We were all scared because we thought they were going to peck us and I was crying because I didn’t want them to peck me. After that we had our lunch. One boy went to put his rubbish in the bin. When he was putting his rubbish in the bin, he got pecked because they thought that he was putting food in the bin. Then we fed the animals and after that it was time to go. And that was the end of our school trip.

Year 2 went on their school trip to Mountfitchet Castle. First we went to the dungeon.  Some people didn’t like to go in there because they were too scared. When we had lunch, a turkey pecked one boy and my feet and, when we had finished, they ate our crumbs. We went to the toy museum and there were old toys that were very cool. When we walked to the toy museum there were dinosaurs.

On Thursday, 29th September, Year 2 went to Mountfitchet Castle. First we went on to the coach. I sat next to India. It took quite a long time to get there. When we arrived there, we went into the bailey. In the bailey we were getting chased by chickens. At lunch time we saw lots of turkeys. I was scared of them. At the end of the day we went to feed the animals and while the others where feeding the animals, I was sitting where the moat was because I was scared. And then we went on the coach back to school.

When we had lunch, someone dropped their hula hoops on the ground and the turkey ate it up. After that my group went to the toy museum and I saw some Lego. After that I fed some geese.

On Thursday, 29th of September, Year 2 went to Mountfitchet Castle and the toy museum. We travelled by Cozy coach. It was very cozy like it said on the outside of the coach. When we arrived at mountfitchet my lunch bag split open! When we went in the toy museum there was Rodney and Del boy in their three wheel car! When we went to do some work I picked the dungeon to write about. When we had our lunch I found out that there were turkeys there. They were very ugly. I know they are called turkeys but they don’t come from turkey! I liked it all. It felt sad when we went back to school but I still thought it was the best school trip ever!

On Thursday, 29^thSeptember, Year 2 went to Mountfitchet Castle.  We went on a Cozy coach. We saw some deer and goats and we were feeding the animals. One snatched the bag full of food and ate all of it. Then we went to the castle. In there we saw some armour. Next we went to the oven. We saw something on a plate that looked disgusting. Then we went to a museum. In the museum there were lots and lots of toys.  There were Lego and Star Wars toys. After that we left the  museum and  we saw  a  brush  and  we  brushed sand off  and  we  saw  bones  and  fossils. We walked back and we  saw  footprints. Then we fed lots and lots of chickens. Then we washed our hands and ate our packed lunch. After that we went on the coach and drove back to Ickleford.

On Thursday, 29th, September, Year 2 went to Mountfitchet Castle. It was very hot.When we got there we split in to groups. I was with Mrs Syme`s group. In the Toy Museum you had to jump on the footprints and a puppet show started playing. I had a very good time. It would have been an excellent day if it had not been so hot.I was sad to leave but I was determined to tell my mummy, mama and sister Fleur all about my trip

On Thursday, 29th September, Year 2 went to Mountfitchet Castle. First we got on a Cozy coach. When we arrived we went into the bailey. First we went into groups. My group went to the dungeon. In the dungeon there was a man hanging up. When we went to have lunch, the turkeys, chickens and peacocks were trying to get our food. Then we went to the toy museum. There were some Star Wars toys and there were model planes. When we went to the church there were some pews to sit on. When we did our work, I chose the blacksmith to draw about. When we where leaving, I thought it was the best school trip ever.

On Thursday,  29^thof September, Year 2 went to Mountfichet Castle. First we got on a coach. Next we split into groups and my group went into the dungeon first. Then we had a go in the stocks. We all went round the place and then had our lunch. There were turkeys trying to grab our pack lunches, when we dropped little bits of food. In the keep there were steep stairs and creepy floors. I fed some chickens. They all ran up to me and I was scared.

On Thursday, 29th September, Year 2 went to Mountfitchet Castle. When we got there I was in Mrs. Adams' group. When we went to the dungeon, we saw a man with his hand chopped off.  Our group also went to the stocks. Our coach was a Cozy coach like in year 1. My best part was when we went in the toy museum. I was trying on the Darth Vader and the Stormtrooper helmet. In the bailey we saw a man with one eye ball taken out.

On Thursday Year 2 went to Mountfitchet Castle. We went on a Cozy coach. On the way we were very loud. I sat next to my friend. When we arrived, we were split into groups. The first thing we did was to go into the dungeon. A few minutes later we pretended to be stuck in the stocks. After that we were testing a sword in a fighting practice. After lunch we went to a toy museum. We tried on some Star Wars helmets. After that we went to do our work. After I chased two friends, another friend was fighting me to get off him. After that I fed the chickens. When I put the food down, they ran to get the food.

On Thursday Year 2 went to Mountfitchet Castle. First we pretended to be stuck in the stocks. After that we had our lunch. Second we fed some animals. When I fed the animals, all the animals crowded round me, so I poured the bag of feed on the floor. The hospital had a person with a bandage round his eye. The hospital made people worse and he had an arrow in his tummy. The turkeys tried to steal our lunch. We saw the blacksmith. The black smith made things from metal. He made horseshoes and shields and helmets. When we went in the castle, the king said, "Will you by quiet, I'm trying to sleep!” Next we went to the dungeon where there was a person hanging. It looked horrible. We got back on the Cozy coach. On the coach I played 'I spy' with my friends and Mrs Banbury.

On Thursday, 29th September, Year2 went on a Cozy coach. On there I sat next to my friend. When we arrived, we went into the bailey. I was in Mrs Parma’s group. We fed the chickens. It made me jump because lots of chickens were coming towards me. Then it was time for lunch and I had a lovely lunch. Then my group went to the toy museum and there were Star Wars toys and old fashioned things. Then we went outside and had a play and one of the boys chased the girls who he liked.

Year 2 went to Mountfitchet Castle. Last Thursday we had to bring a water bottle and some lunch.  First we had to get ready. Then we all got into partners. I sat next to my friend. Everyone was chatting, but I didn’t mind. I went in the dungeon. It was scary. This is the funny bit. The goat ate all our food and then we went to see Mrs. Banbury’s goat.  That one was nice. I went in the kitchen, but it stank. I can’t believe they used to work in that room. I would not eat rabbit either, but I would rather sit   on a sofa and drink hot chocolate and watch TV.

On Thursday, 29^thSeptember, Year 2 went to Mountfitchet Castle. We travelled by coach. The coach we travelled on was called a Cozy coach. When we arrived we where split into groups. I was with Mrs Adams’ group. First we looked in the dungeon and then we pretended to be stuck in the stocks! Oh no! After that we went to see the king and his dog. We saw some armour and I tried on a helmet. After that we had lunch and fed the animals. They were very cute. When I fed the animals, they tickled my hand a bit. There was a watch tower and I looked in it. On top there was a man who was wearing red. There was a wheel and when you wanted some flour you had to spin the wheel. I had a turn at spinning it.  In every house I looked someone talked! One person said, “Would you please be quiet? I'm trying to sleep! This is the only places in the entire castle for me to get some peace and in the morning…” The chickens ran around feeling free. Ah, it was a lovely school trip.

We went on a trip to Mountfitchet Castle. I saw arrow marks at the castle on the wall and hand cuffs. When you were naughty a man put hand cuffs round people’s hands. We saw some animals and I liked them. I also liked the well and the church.

When we arrived we put our bags away and we went out and got into our group. After we had seen everything, we went to have our lunch and after lunch we did some work. After we had done our work, we could play. After we had played our games, it was time to go home.

First we went in the dungeon. Next we went to look at the blacksmith. We also went into the keep and we tried on some armour. We had lunch at lunch time. After we had lunch, we fed the chickens and fed the geese. My most embarrassing part was getting chased by the chickens.  After that we went back to Ickleford.

On Thursday, 29th September, we went to Mountfitchet Castle. We went on a coach. As we entered the castle we were back in time in 1066. We went to the stocks and pretended to be stuck in them and needed help to get out. We fed some animals. They seemed to be very hungry. At lunch time Isaac accidentally split my hula hoops crisps packet and a hungry turkey ate them all. It was a good trip!

My Mummy had some hula hoops and she dropped one of them and a turkey came and ate it. It was very funny. After that we went to the toy museum. Last we went to the dinosaur park.

All of us got our packed lunch and put them on the table. After that we run up the hill. We were very fast. My favourite thing was when we went up the tower. It was very high. Next we got our packed lunch. I was super hungry. There were ugly turkeys around us.

My group sat on the Norman toilet. When we went to have our lunch, the peacocks were trying to get our food. We pretended to be stuck in the stocks. There was a man hanging on a piece of rope. We followed some footprints. It took us to a place with lots of toys. We went back on the coach and went back to school.

On the 29th September, Year 2 went on their school trip to Mountfitchet Castle. We went on a Cozy coach. When we got off my group went to the armour room first. I hated the dungeon. It had a fake man in it. He had an eyeball cut out. My friend wondered how the church bell rang, so when the next church bell went we rushed back inside but it was so loud we had to go back outside and I and my friend screamed. Ha, ha, ha, very funny! I liked the castle and my favourite part was the keep at the top of the castle. The man said, “Oh do be quiet! I’m trying to sleep.” When we did our work I picked the church to write about.
