The children had an assembly about recycling.  The children were asked what they thought recycling was.  It was then explained to them and they were given facts about the impact of recycling on the country and worldwide.  The children were also told about what could be recycled and were introduced to the different types of recycle bins.  Each class also had a recycle workshop.  Year 6 had to collect all the class bins and sort through them and see what could have been recycled!  This gave the children the opportunity to develop their moral development in understanding the consequences of their behaviour and actions along with investigating and offering reasoned views about moral and ethical issues whilst enhancing the British value of understanding right from wrong.
