On Wednesday afternoon an excited Year 4 class put on a class performance of ‘When in Roman Britain’ to the rest of the school as well as a large number of visiting parents.
The children had been rehearsing for the past two weeks with each of the five scenes linked to what they had learnt about in their history lessons. The children brought to life the story of Romulus and Remus, the invasions of Julius Caesar and his gruesome death, the rebellion of Boudicca and finally the Romans leaving Britain.
All the class should be very proud of the hard work, focus and effort they put into their collective performances.
